Bev worked for Coca-Cola for nearly 20 years and International Harvester for 5 years before becoming an entrepreneur. He and Pat owned The Mitchells Bay Inn and The Driftwood Motel and Marina until 1996 when they retired to Chatham due to Pat's health. Bev joined Pat at Riverview Gardens as her roommate in 2017. A special thank you to the amazing staff on 2 East for loving our Dad. Bev was also a longtime member of the Kent Historic Auto Club and loved his 1930 Model A Ford that he restored; an exact replica of the first car he owned at age 16.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service and celebration of life will take place at a later date in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations to the Brain Injury Association of Chatham Kent or Alzheimer Society of Chatham would be appreciated.
