We are both so sorry to hear of the passing of Geoff this week.
Having only met him a couple of times and spoke over the phone over the past 14 years, Geoff was always a happy man to speak with and I enjoyed his stories from his time in Europe with the Air Force.
Both our thoughts and condolences are with you all especially Tom, Jen and Alexander.

I'm so glad we were able to visit with you and your dad last summer. Geoff had wonderful stories and jokes to tell. Of course my favorites were the family recollections. Love you Tom and Jennifer and your family, we will all miss your dad but he is forever in our hearts and now he's joined the rest in heaven. One more angel to watch over our family.

Where to even start with the memories. I worked with Geoff at PWGSC for six years and we had some great times together. The annual sail to Pinney's Point was always a highlight of the summer, such fun. He was a kind and gentle man whose world revolved around his kids; it took no prompting to find out what they were up to as they grew up. Sincerest condolences from Bridget and I to Tom and Jennifer and family.

Thank you Tom for letting me know about your Dad. My heart goes out to you and Jennifer and Jennifer's family. I know how proud your Dad was of both of you when you were growing up and to this day. He is also very proud of his grandson Alexander.
I knew Geoff from 1990 when I started sailing with Donnie Tucker at BYC and also when I started working in PWGSC. Geoff was always fun to be with and to this day we reminisce about the "olden days" when we would talk on the phone or get together.
Geoff was best friends with Mike Bruce and they were always sailing together.
Your Dad had a wonderful evening the night before with family at a niece or nephew's wedding and passed peacefully in his sleep. What a wonderful way to go although it is a shock for the family.
Geoff rest in peace.
