Obituary of Giovanna "Joanne" Maria Moccia

Peacefully surrounded by family at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Tuesday August 8, 2017, Giovanna “Joanne” Maria Moccia, age 73, of Chatham, beloved wife of Mario Moccia.  Born in Italy in 1944, daughter of the late Filomena and Umberto Magliaro.  

Loving mother of Domenic Moccia, Salvatore (Maddie) Moccia, Antonio (Karleen) Moccia and Mike (Amanda Primeau) Moccia. Cherised Nonna to Lucas, Christian, Alex, Spencer, Madison, Elise and Marco. Dear sister of Maria Caporale (Sal), Geraldine Moccia (Bruno), Pat Magliaro (Toni) and a sister-in-law of Maria Magliaro. Predeceased by a brother Luigi Magliaro.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday August 10, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 11, 2017 at 9: 30 AM in St. Ursula's Church.  

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
