Obituary of Agnes Eileen McAlorum

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Sunday October 8, 2017, Agnes Eileen McAlorum, age 85, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late John Thomas McAlorum (2011).  Born in Tilbury East Township in 1932, daughter of the late Irene (Simard)  and Ernest Reaume.  

Agnes was a member of St. Ursula’s Church and the Catholic Women’s League, she was also faithfully involved in Sundale Manor.  Agnes was warm hearted and generous person who would open her doors and heart to anyone who was in need and she was a lifelong choir member at St. Ursula’s.

Loving mother of Tom (Sally), Jim (Patsy) and John (Renate). Also sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty Ann Sheeler (Phil) and Raymond Reaume. Predeceased by 2 brothers Oscar and Lawrence Reaume. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday October 13, 2017 from 7 – 9 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10 am in St. Ursula’s Church.  

Cremation will follow.
