My heart cries for the family on this sad day. I have such fond memories growing up with the family and my cousins and our time spend together. My favorite memory was when Uncle Leonard made homemade root beer in a huge tub for a back yard party at Grandma Gladys (McKeon)....best root beer ever. Leonard was always joking around with us kids, he always had a smile to share and he will be sorely missed by everyone.

I am sending my condolences to Len's family. I don't think I can make it to the visitation or funeral due to having oral surgery on Wednesday afternoon. All the same, I've know of and volunteered with Len since I came over to St. Joe's Church from St. Agnes over 20 years ago. I have volunteered at many bingos and gone to many meetings with Len over the years. He usually had some funny story to tell and he collected so much money at bingos that we used to ask him what he was going to do with all that money? Of course, it was for charity!
He used to tell us stories about working at his son's shop in North Buxton, and was a member of The Harwich
Shady Pine morning coffee club!
Things in life though change and Len has gone on to a better place, at least I hope so!
I pass along my prayers for Len and his extended family though I might not be at the funeral in person.
