Obituary of Robert "Bob" Hendrickx

Robert “Bob” Hendrickx passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday June 25, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Former spouse of the late Betty (Sharp) Hendrickx (2003). Son of the late Edith (Parker) Hendrickx and John B. Hendrickx.

Dear brother of the late Ruth Wardle, Raymond Hendrickx, Dorothy Smith, Florence Allard, Phyliss Pinder, Sylvia Brown and survived by twin sister Verna Letourneau.

Loving father of Kimberly Kereluik (Norm), Colleen French (JP) and Margaret Bechard (Curtis-deceased). Grandfather to Jason, Joshawa, Mistie and Kristine and great-granddaughter Madison.

Bob was born in Dutton, Ontario in 1933, soon after, the family moved to Chatham-Kent. He enjoyed camping, dancing and spending time working in his garage doing things with at cold beer in hand.

Bob retired after 45 years of delivering Brick and Tile as a Truck Driver throughout Ontario and Michigan.

Bob’s wishes that there will be no funeral home visitation or service.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at the time of interment of his ashes.

Donations to the Cancer Society or the Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated by the family.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
