Obituary of Anne FitzGerald

Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Wednesday March 22, 2023, Anna “Anne” Mary FitzGerald, age 85, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Gerald FitzGerald (1995). 

Born in Chatham Township in 1937, daughter of the late Margaret (Kyselica) and Charles Konecny. Anne was a member of St. Michaels Church in Dresden as well as the C.W.L.

Loving mother of Charles (Deborah) FitzGerald, Colleen (Ed) Grison, Brian FitzGerald (Judy Parent), Diane (Jim) Hall, and Scott FitzGerald (Martina Loerts). 

Lovingly known as “Grandma Annie” to her grandchildren, Ginny (Jon) Hawken,  Emily FitzGerald (Emmanuel Belliveau), Gerald Grison (Alison Pearce), Daniel (Lindsay) FitzGerald, Brittany Hall and Ryan Hall.

Great grandmother of Mallory, Eddie, Simone, Jasper, Tenley, Harlyn and Ellary. She will be sadly missed by her sister Catherine (late Louis) Kohoutek and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 27, 2023 at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.

Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
