Peacefully at Village on the Ridge Retirement Home, Ridgetown, on Saturday February 10, 2024, Hendrikus “Harry” Wijsman, age 97.  Beloved husband of the late Adriana “Sjaan” (Caspers) (1973), Sally (Kerr) (2005) and Noreen (Donahue) (2017).  Born in The Netherlands in 1926, son of the late Maria (van der Meel) and Johannes Wijsman. 

Loving father of John (Adele), Mary (Tony), Harry (Mary), Gerald, Fred (Kim) and stepfather of Jeff (Lisa), Judy (late Gus), Beaver (Sandy), Karen (Paul), Kathy (Art) and Cindy (Glenn).  Dearest grandfather of Jessica (Jeff), Cathy, Candi (Ricki), Jane (Andre), Joey, Jonathan, Matthew, Amanda, Hannah (Mitch), Keltie, Erin (Tyler), Stephanie (Casey), Hugh D’Arcy, Tristan, Seamus, Emily, Ashley, Lori, Keegan, Kirby, Marcie, Rick and many great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Annie (Bert), late Mary (late Gus), late Elisabeth (late Gerardus (Betty)), John (Isabelle), late Nick (Nellie), late Cor (late Corry), and late Gerard (Mary). 

Predeceased by his granddaughter Megan Wijsman. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 9:30-10:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ursula's Church at 11 AM.
