Obituary of Clara L’Ecuyer

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday December 26, 2014, Clara Annette L’Ecuyer, age 90, formerly of Grande Pointe, beloved wife of the late Norman L’Ecuyer (2006) . Born in Chatham in 1924, daughter of the late Maria Laprise and Remi Caron. Loving mother of Robert “Bob” L’Ecuyer and his wife Carmelle of Grande Pointe, Patricia Vincent (Dave 2010) of Dover Centre, and the late Patrick “Pat” L’Ecuyer (1992). Grandmother of Reginald (Luisa), Phyllis (Felice “Phil” Toscani), Vincent (Shannon), Monique (Dan Aitken), Christina (Brian Hamilton) and Lisa Vincent (Kevin Potts). Great grandmother of Kayla, Autumn, Taylor, Xandre, Avery, Jonathan, Jared, Mea and Hailey. She was dear sister to Agnes Cadotte (2005), Anna Couture (1958), Eva Tourangeau, Victoria Emery, and brothers Ernest and Jerome. Half siblings to Vital (1992), Lucienna (2006), Roland (1985), Elise (1992), Romeo (1972), Johnny Blair (1978). Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday December 28, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 29, 2014 at 10 AM in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court. Burial will be in St. Philippe Cemetery Grande Pointe. Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
