I am so sorry to hear of the passing of John, I am often in Erieau, and go by the 'ol cottage wondering if the family still owns it---haven't been in touch for many years but do remember when John and my sister Elizabeth went out together i would go there several times for visits with them. I live in Blenheim and can't say i have even run into anyone from the family although i cannot say i would remember what everyone looks like now, has been so long, John was a very kind and caring young guy and i remember him often RIP John xo ♥

Deepest sympathy to the Newkirk family. John has left us much too soon. John was one of my best friends and I am so happy that we were able to get together at Easter. Little did I know this would be our last visit.
John was a special man, and I will never forget him and the good tomes we had together
