Obituary of Stanley Gore

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Thursday January 21, 2016, Stanley Claude Gore Sr., age 85, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Eileen (Satchel) Gore (1998). Born in Northwood Kent County in 1930, son of the late Edna (Jenkerson) and Phillip Gore. Stan worked as a press operator for Siemens and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Loving father of Stan Gore Jr and his wife Alice and their sons and daughter of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of David Jr.(Joette), Dennis (Michelle), and sadly missed by several grand and great grandchildren. Survived and predeceased by 6 sisters and one brother. Predeceased by a son and his wife David and Joyce Gore (2010).
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday January 24, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Friends of the New Animal Shelter or Blessed Sacrament Church would be appreciated.
