Johnston, Thomas

1937-2021

 

Peacefully at Blenheim Community Village on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Thomas Dean Copeland Johnston in his 85th year. Cherished son of the late George and Marjorie Johnston.

Loving husband of Sharron (Kemsley). Loving father of Melodee (Brian) Delrue of Chatham, and Mike Johnston of Grimsby, and his grandchildren Meghan and Cole Delrue and Sydney Johnston.

Dear brother of the late C.D.M Johnston, survived by nieces and nephews.

Tom spent his life in retail floristry owning Syd Kemsley Florist. In his career, Tom taught floral design at the University of Guelph for many years.

A private family visitation and interment has taken place with burial being in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Special thanks to all the caregivers at Blenheim Community Village for the excellent care provided.

Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society or P.A.W.R. 

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home 156 William St. S., Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
