Obituary of Phyllis Bechard

Phyllis Marie (McLoughlin) Bechard, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully Saturday December 25, 2021.

She was born in Chatham 82 years ago and was the daughter of the late Terrance and Mildred McLoughlin. Predeceased by her husband Clay in 2018.

She is survived by her children Carol Ashton (late Rick) of Trenton, Lionel (Lori) Bechard of Ohio, Norman (Leana) Bechard of Pain Court, Angeline Shaw of Chatham, Jean-Paul (Leigh Anne) Bechard of Chatham and Janice (Theiry) Neron of Amherstburg. Also sadly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dear sister to the late Margaret “Peg” Edwards and the late Robert McLoughlin, Terry (Bonnie) McLoughlin of Chatham, Patricia Johansen of Chatham, Norman “Joe” (Audrey) McLoughlin of Petawawa and Millie (John) Smith of Chatham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As was Phyllis’s request, cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date in Immaculée Conception Cemetery, Pain Court.
