Peacefully at her residence on Friday, December 31, 2021, Shirley Eileen Morrice, age 82, of Chatham.  Born in Chatham in 1939, daughter of the late Isabella (McGaffey) and James Henderson.

Loving mother of Leonard (Therisa) Morrice, Kathy (Brad) Doub), Kim (Todd) Armstrong and the late Richard Morrice (2015).  Dearest grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister Donna Hickmott, brother Dwight James, and friend Robert Morrice.

Shirley retired from the Cannery in Dresden after 30 years and returned for another 9 years to work during the tomato run. Family was a very important part of her life and she spent as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren and her cousins. She loved to spend her free time gardening and took great pride in her flower beds.
