Obituary of Joseph Kominek

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus on Monday January 24, 2022, Joseph John Kominek, age 94, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Doris (Crafts) Kominek (2012).

Born in Raleigh Township in 1927, son of the late Mary (Stasa) Kominek  and Jan Kominek.  Joe worked for Canada Post for over 35 years and was a member of St. Agnes Church.

Loving father of Elizabeth “Liz” Kominek and William “Bill” (Wendi) Kominek. Cherished grandfather of Kelsey and Morgan Kominek. Dear brother of John (Carol) Kominek. Also sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday January 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes' Church.
