Obituary of Jozefa Jankowski

At Almonte Country Haven, Almonte, Ontario, on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at 5:30 a.m., Jozefa Jankowski, age 94, formerly of Chatham, Ontario (emigrating from Legnica, Poland in 1960) and beloved wife of the late Stefan Jankowski (1987).  Born in Kamienna Sloboda, Poland in 1927, daughter of the late Ewelina (Lobacz) and Kazimiez Miron. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church.

Loving mother of Mira Fournier and cherished grandmother of Timothy Fournier, Katharine Fournier, Stefan Jankowski, Jessica Jankowski, and great-grandmother to Ronan and Samuel McKenna, and Destiny and Alexsis Jankowski. 

Predeceased by a son Stanley Jankowski and by all her eight brothers and sisters.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday January 28, 2022 from 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Victory Church.
