Peacefully at Village on the Thames on Friday April 1, 2022, Antonio “Tony” Barbuto, age 93, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Edda (Bovenzi) Barbuto. 

Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy in 1929 to the late Rosa (Audia) and Salvatore Barbuto. 

Loving father of John (Yancy) of Arizona and Rosa (Jeremy) Douma of lasalle. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren; Isabella, Anthony, Julianna, Christian, Olivia and Nicholas.   Also survived by his sister Mary Minardi and Teresa Barbuto.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 6-9 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 10 am. 

Entombment will follow in Maple Leaf Mausoleum.
