Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Zimmer

Surrounded by family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Wednesday April 13, 2022, Patricia “Pat” Zimmer, age 89, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Donald Zimmer (2016). 

Born in Essex in 1933, daughter of the late Ann (McCann) and Edward Quinlan.

Loving mother of 4 sons; Greg (Kathy), Chris (Paula), Joe (Laurie) and Tom (Lisa).

Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren Ashley (Scott), Tyler (Stacy) Trent (Ashley) Aaron (Megan), Katie (Sidney) Joey (Alexis) Nick (Kelsey) Ryan (Madison) Kyle (Breanna) and 7 great grandchildren Jaxson, Sawyer, Logan, Rhett, Liam, Dean and Myles. Dear sister of Marg Fuerth (John-dec.), Ruth Quinlan, Trudy Davidson and Larry (Carol) Quinlan. 

Proud mother of her 4 boys and a grandmother who have left all the daughter-in-laws with “big grandma shoes” to fill.

Pat was a St. Joseph’s Church and Harwich CWL member who was always active in her community. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid golfer, often showing her tips to her grandchildren hitting balls over the barn. Pat valued time with her family, always looking forward to having them home for a Sunday gathering.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday April 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:45 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated on Monday April 18^th at 1:00 PM in St. Joseph's Church.

“Please note that the family requests that Masks be worn during visitation and the Mass”. 

Burial will be in Old St. Anthony's Cemetery.
