Obituary of Sr. Angelina Trinca
TRINCA, SISTER ANGELINA, formerly Sister Mary Pius, entered Eternal Life on Friday April 15th, 2022 in Chatham, Ontario.
Born in Windsor , Ontario in 1932, the daughter of the late Augustino and Maria (Quaglitto) Trinca.
She entered the Ursuline Sisters of Chatham in 1949. During those years she served the Ursuline Community as a teacher in Windsor , Essex, Stratford , Harrow, Calgary , and Chatham . She was a staff member at the House of Prayer in Tilbury and Pastoral Worker at St. Agnes Parish, Chatham, Sacred Heart Parish, Windsor and St. Joseph ’s Parish, Chatham.
Sister Angelina retired at “The Pines” in 1996 and moved to Villa Angela in 2006. She is predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Louis and John and sister, Giustina (Tina) Moran. She is survived by brothers, Dr. Alfred Trinca and Cheryl; and sisters, Rita Whittal and Gregory and sister-in-laws Jo-Anne Trinca (John) and Doris Trinca (Louis).
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, April 20th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21st, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Avenue, Chatham.
Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
The Ursuline Sisters would appreciate mask wearing during visitation and at Mass.
