Obituary of Kathleen Mary Shuttleworth

In loving memory of a dear mother, grandma and sister who passed away at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Tuesday May 3, 2022, Kathleen Mary Shuttleworth, of Chatham at the age of 89 years. 

Born in Harwich Township in 1933, daughter of the late Laura Annie (Smith) and William Cantlay.

Loving mother of William, Clifford and Lois (Gerry) Slakat and also daughter-in-laws Ruth Hillier and Nancy Shuttleworth. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 1great grandchild and by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Dear sister of Barbara Wellington and the late Jean Fraser. 

Predeceased by a son Harold, 2 brothers; Malcolm and James Cantlay a daughter-in-law Evelyn and brother-in-laws Charles Wellington and William Fraser.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 7-9 pm on Sunday May 8, 2022.

Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the funeral home  on Monday May 9, 2022 at 11am with Captain Stephen Holland of the Salvation Army Church officiating.

Cremation will follow and burial of ashes will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations to the Lung Association or the Cancer Society or Copper Terrace Long-term Care Facility would be appreciated.
