Obituary of Franco Basaneze

Passed suddenly as the result of an accident in Pain Court in March, Franco Basaneze, age 45, of Merlin, spouse of Dr. Angela Bell and father of Nina, Reno and Nico.  Born in Chatham in 1977, son of Guerino Basaneze and the late Esterina (Meriano) (2016).  Dear brother of Susi (Marc) Dupuis. 

Franco was raised on a farm in Merlin and his love of farming continued throughout his life.  After high school, he worked for many years at Kerr Farms becoming a farm supervisor there.  Recently he was an equipment operator for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. 

Due to the ongoing covid restrictions and the request of the family, a private service will be held.

Cremation has taken place.  

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
