Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Thursday May 26, 2022, Iris Labadie, age 98, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Donald Labadie (2000). 

Born in England in 1924, daughter of the late Edith (Upperton) and Harry Talbot. 

Loving mother of Donna (Lloyd) McDonald, Dennis (Valerie) Labadie and Terry (Jeanne) Labadie. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters; Winnie Paige, Lillian Deegan, Cecilia Grier, Nora Skinner and brother Wilfred Talbot.

There will be no visitation or funeral, cremation has taken place and a graveside service to burial her ashes with her husband Don, will take place on Friday June 3, 2022 at 11 am in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S., Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.

Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
