Obituary of Ruth Eleanor Sereda

Ruth Eleanor Sereda, age 92, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Walter Sereda (2012), passed peacefully on Wednesday August 17, 2022, surrounded by her 3 loving "chicks".

Born in Dover Township in 1930, daughter of the late Bernice (Gleed) and Wesley Peltier. 

Loving mother of Colleen and Ron Pardo, Noreen Sereda and Melanie and Joe Kordowski.  Cherished grandmother of Brock and Lindsay Pardo, Danica and Stephen Sora.  Dear "Mema" of Tate and Simon Pardo, and Miles and Naomi Sora.Survived by dear sister Betty Ann Ouellette and sisters in law Shirley Peltier and Olga Sereda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by brothers Bob, Glenn and Murray Peltier, infant sister Bernice Anne Peltier, inlaws Susie Peltier, Arlene Peltier, Gerald Ouellette, Bill Sereda, George and Maxine Sereda, Carl and Helen Sereda, and Mary Rylett.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday August 23, 2022 morning from 9:30 am until 10:45, followed by Mass at 11:00 at St. Ursula's Church. 

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. 

Reception to follow at St Ursula's church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
