Obituary of Helen Winifred Wilson

Helen Winifred Wilson of Chatham, passed away suddenly surrounded by her loving family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice Sunday September 4, 2022.

Born in Merlin 72 years ago, daughter of the late Elmer Robert Wilson and Velma Verlyn Crosby.  Survived by her partner Chris McCaffrey.

Lovingly remembered by her daughter Tammy Wilson and son John (Jamian) Wilson and her grandchildren: Mitchell, Trey, Alanté, Justin, Michael and Ella. Sadly missed by her siblings, Joan Price, Everette Wilson, Dwayne Crosby, Dwight Crosby, Jherri Crosby, Minerva Letchner and Dale Crosby. Prececeased by brother Bud Wilson, Mikeal Wilson, Peggy Cuylle, Ruth Ann Wilson and Lillian Shepard.

She will always be missed by a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 7 – 9 PM on Wednesday September 7, 2022.  

Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home on Thursday September 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Burial will be in North Buxton Community Church Cemetery.

Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
