Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Friday December 18, 2015, Herman Ovide Cartier, age 87, of Chatham, Herman is predeceased by his wife and soul mate Marie Helen (Walker) on February 25, 2015 and by his 1st wife Mary Jane (Gore)(1970).
He is survived by his 6 sons; Roger (Randi) Cartier, Wayne (Betty) Cartier, Dale (Mary Lee) Cartier, Larry (Sheila) Cartier, Gary Cartier and Dennis (Paul Summers) Cartier. Step father of Mike (Janet) Walker and Tim (Heather) Walker. Sadly missed by many grand and great grandchildren. Predeceased by a step daughter Carol Boley (2009).
At Herman’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service.
Cremation has taken Place.
A graveside service for immediate family will take place at a later date.
Donations to the Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
