Obituary of Nobuko "Nancy" Kamai

Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday September 3, 2022, Nobuko “Nancy” Kamai, age 93, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Kazuyasu Kamai (1998). Born in Mission, BC in 1929, daughter of the late Kiri (Sugimoto) and Tokuzo Yako.
She is survived by her sister Sue Higo of Richmond, BC and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Helen Sobry, Joyce (Mitts) Yamamoto and brothers Jim, Tom, Fred and one infant brother.
Nancy worked at the Public General Hospital for 39 years until her retirement.
As per Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place.
She will be buried with her husband Kazuyasu in Christ Church Memorial Gardens.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
