Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility on Friday October 14, 2022, Roger Joseph Martin, age 89, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Allemeersch) Martin (1996).

Born in Chatham in 1933, son of the late Celina (Goure) and Gaspar Martin.

He is survived by his children . Michel (Wife Gina Martin) Denise (Don) Preston, and Jamie Martin. Grandfather of Autumn Preston, Matthew, Christopher and Jaime Martin.

Dear brother of Yolande (Alvin) Griffore, Gerald Martin, Vince (Eileen) Martin, Aline (Leroy) Myers, Rosaire Martin, Jerome (Diane) Martin, Elizabeth (Mark) Buckwheat and Claude (Karen) Martin. 

Predeceased by sisters; Yvette Robert and Jackie Martin.

As were Roger’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service, cremation has taken place.

Donations to the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
