Obituary of Franceline Wellwood

Peacefully at Maple City Residence, Chatham on Tuesday December 15, 2015, Franceline Beatrice Wellwood, age 96, of Chatham, beloved wife of George Hitchmough and the late Clarence Wellwood. Born in Saskatchewan in 1919, daughter of the late Louise (Bechard) and Joseph Cadotte.
Franceline was Registered Nursing Assistant with the Southwestern Regional Centre for over 17 years.
Loving mother of Dennis Wellwood, Ruth Laurie, and Richard Wellwood and his wife Christine. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Rita Smith. Predeceased by brothers; Hector, Wilfred, Raymond, and sisters; Marie, Emily Marion, and Cecile and one great grandchild.
As was her request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday December 28, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Fr. William Capitano officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial of ashes in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Evan’s Legacy (Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada) would be appreciated by the family.
