I may not have known Ron for as long as some, but I'm glad to be able to say I met him.
The Ron I knew was always joking and laughing with a smile on his face. I can honestly say we bonded over food as each time I visited I was met with him trying to get me to sample a new creation he'd made in the air fryer (all of which were great I might add!). If he wasn't working or home with his family, he was out givin'er on his motorcycle. I think I ran into him (figuratively of course!) out on that bike around Chatham just as many times as I did at his own home.
My condolences to the entire Ladd family.
Rest easy Ron.

I was so sorry to hear that R on passed away. In my mind he will always be the beautiful little boy, full of mischief, that he was when his grandfather and I lived in the house on Wellington East. Mary Kneeland

To all Ronnie's family, his wife, children, grandchildren, Mum & Dad. I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Ronnie since I left Chatham area in 1966, but when I saw his picture I smiled because I recognized the entire Ladd family tree in him right back to my Uncle Ed. So sorry to hear of Ron's passing, Ron was a great man & friend, at times we wouldn't see each other for a while but it was always the same when we'd get together like no time had passed, we called each other brothers from different mothers & he'd always refer to me as cousin Wayne, we had many laughs in high school & ever since, he will be sadly missed! Sincerest sympathies to his family & all whose lives Ron made better by being a great friend. Wayne King

I knew Ron for many years. We sure had fun doing crazy stuff which usually included racing around in cars, on bikes, etc. Always something crazy going on or a funny story to share. If you knew someone, chances were good he knew them too. Years ago, on a snowmobile I had a very bad accident out in an orchard. Ron found me, if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't be here today to write this. Thanks again! Rest In Peace my friend.

Ron been missing your fist bump since you left Dajcor, it was great seeing you a few times after that. Rest easy my friend. Though it took a while to get use to your satire humor, we became friends through conversation, and every day Dajcor.... till we meet again, looking for that fist bump
