Peacefully surrounded by family at the Villa on the Ridge, Ridgetown, on Thursday December 10, 2015 at the age of 86 years. She is now reunited with the love of her life John Leschyshyn (September 3, 2015). Born in Coatsworth in 1929, daughter of the late Nellie (Dibbley) and Maxwell Dixon.
Loving mother of Rev. Sharon Grainger, Brenda (Robb) Vincent and Karen (Rick) Squire, all of Chatham. Cherished Nana of Nicole, Jeff (Becky), Tiffany (Trevor), and Jennifer (Jon). Great Nana to Jasmine, Dakoda, Chase, Asia, Drea, Raiven, Addison, Amelia, Jeffrey and Oliver. Great Great nana to Jeziah and Jaylah. Sadly missed by sister-in-laws Shirley Harris and Marie Leschyshyn and brother-in-law Bob Ritchie. Predeceased by siblings Helen, Alice, Fern, Ella, Bud and Pete and a son-in-law Ron Grainger.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday December 15, 2015.
Funeral Service will then be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Koppes of Praise Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Friends of the New Animal Shelter or Praise Fellowship Soup Kitchen would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Villa on the Ridge for their exceptional care.
