Obituary of John Allen Payne

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, Chatham, on Wednesday May 3, 2023, John Allen Payne, at the age of 62 years.

Born in Chatham in 1960, son of the late John and Vivian Schram.

Loving father of John Payne Jr., Stephanie Payne, Allen Payne and Ashley Payne. Cherished grandfather of Shyann, Alexis, Shylynn, Kyjun, Madison, Jazmine, Maliki, Anthony, Sierra, Jeaden and Jocelyn and great grandfather of Greyson, Skylynn and Sianna. Dear brother of Robin, Ida and Clayton.

Predeceased by sisters; Cathy and Theresa and by brothers; Gerald and Francis.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Sunday May 7, 2023.  

Funeral Service will be conducted in the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home Chapel on Monday May 8, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Greg Simpson officiating.  

Cremation will follow.
