The world lost the greatest crossword puzzler of all time on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 as Gary Keith Keane, age 70, of Chatham, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
He was a loving husband, supportive and encouraging father and step-father, silly Grandpa, cherished brother and brother-in-law, and trusted friend.
Gary’s quiet wisdom and appreciation for life will be remembered by his dear wife Colleen Keane, his daughter Cindy Baxter (Geoff), his step-children Dan (Lisa) Moynihan, Dave (Melissa) Moynihan, Mike (Tiffany) Moynihan, Dawn (Todd) Bowen, and Pat (Emilie) Moynihan and 13 grandchildren. He will be cherished by his sister Patty (Bill) Keane, Gord (Bernice) Keane, Ken (Janis) Keane and Carl (Glenna) Keane.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Donations to Blessed Sacrament Parish, Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
