Obituary of Larry Schives

Born September 8, 1943 and passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015. Beloved spouse of Linda Haskell and the late Ruth Regnier 2013. Predeceased by his parents James and Hazel Schives, Larry is survived by his son Steven Schives and his wife Janet, also by Jim Haskell and his wife Lisa and Tim Haskell and his wife Jenny and Tracey Cowen and her husband Duane. Larry will be missed by 12 grandchildren; Matthew, Katelyn, Michaela, Isabella Schives, Nicole, Natalie, Shelby and Jimmy Haskell, Trevor and Amanda Haskell, Bradlee and Chelsey Cowen, and by 5 great granddaughters. Larry has 5 brothers and 1 sister; Bob and (late Jean), Glen and Marlene, Wayne and Whilamena, Ken and Joanne and (late Barb), Marion Bully (late Bernard). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his in laws Brenda Archer (late John), Jane and Don Bilyea, Bessie and Lee Smith, Tammy and Keith McGongle, Barb and Jack Haskell, Rick and Terry Gallerno. Larry will be sadly missed by his best buddies Donnie and Gail Hendricks, Judd Young, Bob and Pat Person and Bob Howes. Predeceased by a brother Gordon. Larry drove truck for 30 plus years for Preferred Trucking. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Larry’s life will take place at the Moose Lodge, 850 Richmond St, in Chatham on Saturday January 9, 2016 from 1-4 pm.
