With his family at his side David Valente DaCosta passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday May 21, 2023 at the age of 73.  He is survived by his loving wife Elvira DaCosta.  Dear father of Bradley (Sophia) DaCosta.  Loving grandfather of Jonah and Luca.  Cherished brother of Anibal (Janice) DaCosta, Antonio (Maria) DaCosta and Judite DaCosta. 

 

Predeceased by his parents Maria and Joaquim DaCosta and his sister Maria Chibante. 

 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church.  Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated.
