Obituary of Shirley Ann Harwood
On Tuesday July 18, 2023, our lives have been forever changed by the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Shirley Ann Harwood (Reaume), age 82 of Chatham.
At London Health Science Centre University Campus, London, Ontario Shirley, with her family by her side, peacefully went to our Lord.
Brian Harwood was the love of her life for 62 years. Born in Chatham in 1941, daughter of the late Marie Evelyn (Thibeault) and Gilbert David Reaume. Loving mother of Heather (Jeff) Stewart and Daniel (Heather) Harwood. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, William, Matthew (Krista), Mitchell, Dane and Tyler (Zoey). Special great-grandmother (G.G.) to Odin, Ryker, Morgan, and Ledger.
Dear sister of David (Linda) Reaume, Roger (Linda) Reaume, Ron (Lee) Reaume and Chris (Darlene) Reaume. Predeceased by her sister Marion Campbell, mother in-law Margaret Studnicka, Richard and Diane Harwood, Mike and Shay Harwood.
Shirley worked at the Bank of Montreal for 36 years, was an active member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Women’s League, St. Vincent de Paul Society. Besides her commitment to her family and friends, she was very devoted in her faith and serving her community.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Food for Children, St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
