Obituary of Larry Hyslop

At Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus, Windsor, on Tuesday September 12, 2023, Larry Donald Hyslop, age 74, of Windsor, beloved son of the late Dorothy (Thibault) Hyslop and Donald Hyslop. 

Dear brother of Lynn (John) Barry of London, ON.  

He is also survived by several nephews Brayden (Tess) Haskell, Brent (Ally) Haskell, Hilary (Nick) Pooley all of St Thomas, and Al Vautour of Essex.  

Larry has one great niece Piper Haskell, and two great nephews Maclan & Kingston Pooley all of St. Thomas.  Also survived by several cousins.  

Larry earned his degree at the University of Windsor & lived most of his later life in Windsor, He spent 7 years living & teaching in China which he very much enjoyed.  He was an avid reader and had a strong interest in English history, the Monarchy, and politics.

Larry was a man of faith, and his Catholic beliefs brought him comfort throughout his life.

As were Larry’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.  

Cremation with a private service & family burial of ashes will occur at a later date.  

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
