Obituary of Manuel DeSouza Borges

At Chartwell Royal Oak Long-term Care Facility, Kingsville, on Tuesday September 26, 2023, Manuel DeSouza Borges, age 90, of  Chatham, beloved husband of the late Margarida (Torres) Borges (2009).

Born in Arrifes, The Azores, Portugal in 1932, son of the late Maria (Almeida) and John Perriera Borges.

Loving father of Zelia Glassford (Todd Reaume), John Borges, Joe (Rita) Borges, Fatima (Leonardo) Lopes, Teresa Muscedere, George (Georgina) Borges and David (Melissa) Borges.  Sadly missed by several grand, great and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters.   

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday September 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

A Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday September 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
