Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Monday, October 9, 2023, Elizabeth Myers, age 97, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Gerald Myers (1994). Born in Windsor in 1926, daughter of the late Mary (Manikan) and Jacob Bolohan.

Loving mother of Mary Jane (Gerald) Bellinger, Patricia “Pat” Gherbaz, Beverly (Mike) Bechard, Cindy Myers, Annette Myers (Steve Markovic) and the late Susan Elizabeth Myers. Dearest grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Dorothy (late Art) Young, late Lena Bolohan, late Margaret (late Leon) Duquette, late Mary (late Alvin) Palmer, late William Bolohan, late Costan (late Ria) Bolohan, late Leo (late Theresa) Bolohan, late George (Vicky) Bolohan and late John (late Jeanne) Bolohan. Also dear sister-in-law of Lois Myers and Gloria Myers. She will also be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt thanks goes out to Dr. Anthony Dixon and the excellent staff and caregivers at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home and a special thank you to her granddaughter, Melissa, for all the valued support and assistance she gave to her Grandmother.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 am in St. Ursula’s Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave. West, Chatham.

Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
