Bernie Rose posted a condolence
Sunday, November 5, 2023
To the friends and family of Ed you all have my deepest most sincere condolences.
Ed was truly one of a kind they sure did break the mold when they made him and unfortunately theyvshould have made more of him because he made this world so much more bearable and better to live in and be a part of if you knew him. His kindness surpasses anyone else I have known as he did not judge he just helped anyone in need in anyone he can right up to his last days.
He was truly special in my heart and a very great friend to have had.
I am so very sorry I missed out on his viewing and service but I will never forget Ed he still lives in my heart just as he does in so many others. I can not find one bad thing to ever say or think of him as he was truly unique and one of a kind and despite any issues he had his loving heart and kindness surpass any issues he may have faced.
I hope you are at rest now and know how much we all loved you. You will never be forgotten and I will always know how truly blessed I was to have known you and been privileged to call you my friend. I want to celebrate your life as we should but I do shed tears for one of our angels who we have lost. Until we meet again! All my love Bernie ( MISS Bernadette Rose)

I will be forever grateful to have got so close to Ed in the last juncture of his life. I learned a lot from him and about him and I can honestly say he was one of the few genuinely GOOD people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. A lot of people depended on him and he enriched the lives of those he loved every single day. I spent countless hours getting to know him, his quirks and antics, his generosity, his pet peeves & his soul. I could and did listen to him talk for hours many nights. He lived a very interesting life in his younger years - travelled and saw alot. It is comforting to me to know his life was anything but stagnant. And I absolutely adored how he interacted with the people around him. He was so sweet and special and smart. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life. He helped me thru the turmoil in some of the most difficult times in my own life, I soaked up all the wisdom I could from him and he never asked for a single thing in return (other than my time which I was willing and happy to obliged him with) there will never be another person like him on earth. He was unique beyond measure and will hold a place in my and so many hearts for all the years I have left in this life.
Ed, darling’ wherever you ended up- I hope your causing at least a liiittllle trouble there. I hope you got that guitar in tune finally and you picked it back up at last and are rocking out (even if it is totally out of tune)
Rest now doll
