I will always remember Sr. Patricia Anne. When I worked at the convent as a receptionist when I was 17, she would come down to help me with my math homework. She was so smart and so kind. ❤️

Sr Pat would often end with a prayer that I consider a great prayer of humility.
Dear Jesus, help me to spread Your fragrance everywhere I go.
Flood my soul with Your spirit and life.
Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly,
That my life may only be a radiance of Yours.
Shine through me, and be so in me
That every soul I come in contact with
May feel Your presence in my soul.
Let them look up and see no longer me, but only Jesus!
Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine,
So to shine as to be a light to others;
The light, O Jesus will be all from You; none of it will be mine;
It will be you, shining on others through me.
Let me thus praise You the way You love best, by shining on those around me.
Let me preach You without preaching, not by words but by my example,
By the catching force of the sympathetic influence of what I do,
The evident fullness of the love my heart bears to You.
Amen.

My beloved Biology teacher at The Pines. We loved Sr. PA who would knit AND teach us Gr. 11 Biology at the same time. She was so passionate about Biology, you wanted to learn from her. She participated in all the student-staff activities and always wore running shoes with her dresses. She was the “coolest” Nun ever! That’s my high school memories of her. Her Spiritual guidance at COR and Cursillo was such a gift. She remembered everyone! Thank you Sister, you were a great blessing in my life.

Sister Patricia Anne was principal at The Pines when I was a student there. I also had her as a Biology teacher. She was a kind, intelligent, and fair person, and my friend and I too, tested her patience at times. I feel she partly shaped who I am today. Sorry for your loss.

Sister Patricia Anne was Principal at The Pines when I graduated from Grade 13.
She was a truly lovely soul, approachable and fair, while sticking to the rules, mostly.
We Ridgetown girls gave her a run for her money. ;-)
May she enjoy her well deserved rest in eternity.
God is able.

She was the best Science teacher and Principal ever!
She was kind, fair, and funny. She expected the best from her pupils and mostly she got it. She was loved and respected. God bless her spirit!
