Obituary of Ann Pickering
Ann Pickering of Chatham (formerly Blenheim) passed away at CKHA peacefully on April 4th 2024.
She was born to Elizabeth Stevenson and Sydney Stewart. She married Gerald Nead with whom she had five children; Deb (Glen) McEachran, Kim (Dale) Pepper, Doug Nead, David (Sue) Nead and Dan Nead.
She was a loving grandmother to Nicole (Ian) Bradley, Candace (Jason) Pook, Emily (Eric) Pepper, Olivia Pepper, Ian Pepper, Abigail (Tyler) Pepper, Matthew (Jenny) Nead, Mitchell Nead, Cole Nead, Graham Nead and Patrick Nead. She also had three great granddaughters Khaleesie Pepper, Mia Nead and Charlotte Nead.
She was predeceased by her brothers Jack, Harry, Allen, Wilfred and Bill Stewart.
Ann loved spending time in her garden tending to her tulips, daffodils and hostas.
She had a love for animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in her backyard. Her furry companions Chloe and Buffy were always by her side.
A private family visitation and service was held at the funeral home, with cremation.
