Sorry for the loss of your Mother. She lived a wonderful life and that is all we really can ask for. She was what I called my back door neighbor out at Mitchell's Bay. I was on a houseboat across the cut from your parents. Love to hear them partying and also dancing to their band down at Halfway house many moons ago. Always loved the music across the cut as well. Ran into her at the Dresden Casino a few years ago, and she looked so good. Treasure all those fun memories to help you through this sad time because you will miss her so.

Rick, Patsy and Carrie, I just received the news of your mom. I remember her and your father going out to drink beer with many of my parents friends. I remember a lot of good times spent with both your Dad and Mom. I was the Union Stewart at Libbys back in the shipping department when your Mother posted for the job of SHIPPING CLERK. They came to me and I recall how many of the people back in shipping thought she should not be allowed back there with the men. They also complained when the shipping department got slack and management thought that a women should not be slugging cases ( loading boxcars ). The other junior clerks were obliged to load these boxcars. I thought this funny. I'm sorry for your loss, which is a loss to all her family, friends and acquaintances.
