Obituary of Suzanne Marie Baylis

Suddenly at her residence in Chatham, on Wednesday June 12, 2024, Suzanne Marie Baylis, age 67, of Chatham, beloved wife of Clinton Baylis. 

Born in Pembroke, Ontario in 1957, daughter of the late Norma (White) and William “Bill” Hudson. 

Loving mother of Suzy (Damon), Tegan and Clinton Baylis Jr (Natalie) and Kristina McGowan. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, Delilah Alexis Calvin and Xavier, 2 great grandchildren Josiah and Willow Dear sister of Penny Baylis, Steve, Rick and Sandi Hudson. Step mother of Jean Hudson.

Predeceased by Brothers Tom Gary, Tim and sister n law Sue Hudson. Grandson Joshua Baylis.

Sue was recognized for bringing laughter, joy and love as the Baylis family matriarch as well as many friends she made along the way. Even during her 20 year tenure at Victoria Residence, she gave her time, love and was a care giver to many family and friends. 

Sue enjoyed her time gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was one of a kind! To the family, friends and the many walks of life she touched we ask all to join us in commemorating her wonderful life.

 Visitation at  Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 - 4 and 6- 8 pm on Sunday June 16, 2024.  

Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home on Monday June 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM. 

Cremation will follow.
