Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on June 13, 2024, Janet Cassels, age 73, of Chatham passed away. Born in Chatham on May 15, 1951 to the late Margaret Fowler (Geroux) and Donald Fowler, she is survived by the love of her life, partner and best friend, James Mugridge; daughter Patricia and son Jason; granddaughters Anais and Iris; and brothers Wayne and Roger.
She is predeceased by her sisters Caroline and Rebecca and her brothers Stephen and David.
Generous and funny, Janet was well-liked by friends and neighbours and deeply loved by those closest to her. She will be missed.
