Michelle, Mark, Wayne, Annette, Andy & Nicole, and the entire Zimmer family,
What a beautiful tribute to your mother... It so captures her and her remarkable life, and resonates with how I remember her, and how lovely an encounter with her always was -- even briefly, to receive her wonderful smile and greeting at church...
My deepest sympathies,
Virginia Mariconda-Alvarez

Our prayers are with all family and friends of Helen as we begin to live our lives without her by our side. As she is physically gone her light still shines in everyone she knew. I will miss seeing her at mass every Sunday and miss her presence at the family functions we attended. Her bright smiling face and her laughter are forever in my mind. Her spirit will be around for generations from all the unconditional she has left imprinted on our hearts. Thank you Helen for being a beacon of light for all.
We love you and will looking forward to seeing again.

To the Zimmer family,
I was sad to hear of Helen's passing. She always reminded me of my mother- a night shift nurse tending to the needs of her patients with a big family to care for at home and yet she balanced her caring to both with great expertise and much love. She never seemed to get overwhelmed and was a great resource on the night shift. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Our deepest condolences to the Zimmer family. I have many happy memories of the night shifts we spent together on ER.She would take care of her family and yet she would work tirelessly all night where I would struggle to stay awake !! Helen because of her faith filled life, was the most caring compassionate nurse I ever met As a young nurse then I aspired to be just like her in my nursing career. She has left so many fond memories for her family to remember! Rest in peace Helen in Heaven with the love of your life .

Helen. Was an excellent nurse! Her knowledge was valuable. She was also a good friend to so many.
George and Helen were my neighbours. They treated everyone as their friends.
George had a religious verse he used to say to me and I could never remember it. So when George passed. Helen used to say it to me. The verse made my day feel so much brighter.
Can’t remember it now. And they are both gone
Rest in peace dear friends.

Your Mom will be so missed by many. I was blessed to have Helen as my neighbour. I couldn’t ask for a nicer neighbour. There was never a time when she was too busy to sit and visit. I’d come to know the whole Zimmer family through our friendship. I will miss your laughter and humour. You have more than earned your wings with your unconditional kindness to all.
I will surely miss you. ❤️

Helen was a good sister-in-law, always welcoming and ready for a friendly chat. She never missed sending us cards for birthdays and other events. Since Dick and I lived other places rather than Chatham, Helen and I never spent much time together on my visits home; however she and George were on a trip through Edmonton when we lived there and stopped for a visit. When she and I spent some time together and got to know each other we became good friends. I will continue to think of her often and send my prayers love and sympathy to all the family. Edith Mockler
