Obituary of Mary-Catherine Ecker

A resident of Kitchener, Mary-Catherine Ecker died  on Thursday June 20, 2024, at her home at the age of 55. Born in Chatham, beloved daughter of James Nelson Ecker and Pricilla (Sebin), currently residing in Cambridge.  Loving sister of James Peter (Alyson) Ecker and her cherished niece Rachael of Markham.

Mary-Catherine’s proudest achievements were being awarded a Diploma in Food Service Management and working at the Sunnyside Home in Kitchener.  She was a passionate, dedicated and committed health professional for over 26 years.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday July 4, 2024, from 2 - 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM in St. Ursula's Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
