Obituary of Stanislaw Polewicz

Stanislaw Polewicz, aged 79, passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2024, surrounded by his daughters after a courageous battle with cancer. He is reunited with his wife of 54 years, who passed away in May 2023. He leaves behind his daughters Beata and Katarzyna, sons in law Jerzy and Mariusz, his grandchildren Paulina (Lorenzo), Jessica (Darren), Sabina, Erik and Adam, his great granddaughters Aria, Aila and Sofia, as well as his sister Marta who lives in Poland.  

Born in Ryki, Poland, on November 22, 1944, Stanislaw immigrated to Canada with his family in 1989. He was a devoted husband, father, and a friend who always went above and beyond to help others.  

Father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather, Stanislaw will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed by his loved ones in both Canada and Poland.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham on Sunday July 7th, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  Rosary to follow right after.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 8th, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church.  Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.  

Mass offering for his soul would be preferred over flowers or donations.
