Obituary of Bruce Somerville

Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Sunday July 14, 2024, Norman “Bruce” Somerville, of Chatham at the age of 82 years. 

Bruce was united with his mother whom he lost 75 years ago. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren:  Leana (Norm) Bechard and their kids Kevin (Paula), Shane (Ashley), Shay-Lynne, Dwayne (Sarah) and grandkids Eryk, Memphis, Charleigh, baby boy Walkz, Tammy Somerville and her son River, Jason (April) Somerville and their kids, Jeff, Stephanie, MacKenzie, Jason, stepkids Niklas (Ashlyn), Zakary (Bethany) Lex (Nathan) and grandchild Carsyn and by Maureen (Lawrence Cook) Ballagh and her daughter Chayle (Mark) Bowen and grandkids Jack and Ava.  

As were his wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.

Cremation has taken place and burial of ashes will be announced at a later date in Huxley Cemetery in Hillsburgh.
