Obituary of Fernand Joseph Gagnon

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, surrounded by family on Saturday, July 20, 2024, Fernand Joseph Gagnon, age 76, of Chatham, beloved husband of Bertha Marie (Aubé) Gagnon.

Born in New Brunswick in 1948, son of the late Angéline (Roy) and William Gagnon. Fernand was a member of Immaculée Conception Church in Pain Court and a member of the Father James Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and Pain Court Council # 9693. He worked for Eaton Yale until his retirement.

Loving father of Fern Mailloux (Etienne) and Linda (Bobby) Delagrammatikas. Sadly missed by grandchildren Danielle (Brian), Julie (Ryan), Ella, and by great grandchildren Milo and Olivya. Dear brother of Regina (Gerry) Bernard, Adrienne (Ron) Gravel, Alfred (Raymonde) Gagnon and Ronald Gagnon.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday July 23, 2024.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 24, 2024 at 11am in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.  

Members of the 4 th Degree Father James Assembly of The Knights of Columbus will assemble for prayers on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. Colour Guard will stand watch from 7-9 pm  on Tuesday and the presentation of the Chalice will follow.

Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Church Cemetery, Pain Court.
