Obituary of Shelley Lauzon

In the early hours of Wednesday August 7, 2024, Shelley Anne Lauzon, age 64, of Chatham, passed away peacefully after a short but courageous battle with cancer.  Born in London, Ontario in 1960, daughter of the late Monica (Johnston) and Ross Cook. Married for 46 wonderful years to her best friend, Randy Lauzon. The best and most loving mother of Chris Lauzon, Nick (Kimberly) Lauzon and Katie (Tim) Diamond. She loved being a grandmother and was affectionately known as “Mimi” to Willow, Axl and Aubrey, with a fourth grandchild on the way whom she already loved so much. Dear sister to Jacquie Cook (David Ramsden).

Shelley will be remembered for her kindness, her courage, and her strength in the face of the many challenges she encountered; especially in the last few years as cancer fought against her.

As were Shelley’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. 

Cremation has taken place.

Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
